Utrecht Syntax Interface Talk LOT

We’d like to inform you that the next Syntax Interface Lecture will take place on November 2 from 16:00 until 17:00 both on site at Trans 10, room 0.19, Utrecht, and in our Syntax Interface Lectures team on MS Teams. We will host a talk by Enoch Aboh and Meg Smith (University of Amsterdam) with the title ‘There should be no room for Modern English to exist: A view from the past’.

If you are already a member of the Team or affiliated with UU please use the following link to participate:

In case you are not already a member of the Syntax Interface Lectures team on MS teams and affiliated to the UU, please use the following link:

If you would like to join the talk and are not affiliated with UU, please email us (syntax.interface@uu.nl) so that we can add you to the team.

We kindly ask you to request to join the Syntax Interface Lectures team by 15:30 on the day of the talk, as we have experienced some accessibility issues in the past and want everyone to be able to enjoy the talk in its entirety. We will then send around a meeting link which you can click on at the time of the talk to join the meeting itself. For further instructions and tips for accessing our meetings via Teams, see our website: https://syntaxif.wp.hum.uu.nl/

For further information, including the abstract for the talk, check out our website:

We’re looking forward to seeing lots of you on November 2!
